The Fleetwood Area Youth Football & Cheerleading Association was established in 2003 and is open to boys and girls ranging from ages 4 to 12 (Pre-K - 7th Grade). We participate in the Berks Area Youth Football (BAYFL) and Cheerleading (BAYCL) League, where children are grouped by age & grade, not weight.
Our Football program offers an opportunity to learn the competitive skills of the game as well as our athletes enjoying the benefit of physical exercise while learning life lessons through the sport. Players benefit physically, socially and emotionally.
Our coaches emphasize the importance of discipline, leadership, teamwork and good sportsmanship. To kids, the game is about fun, friendship and camaraderie. It's about achieving success or learning from failure, then lining right back up again.
Our Cheerleading program teaches great spirit, good sportsmanship, and competitive cheerleading. It provides a strength-training and cardiovascular workout that keeps girls healthy and fit, as well as maintaining a positive attitude. Most importantly, it teaches values such as preparation, dedication, and working as a team.
By executing these skills and values our program has grown and received recognition for its hard work and dedication. We have had championships on the field and at the cheer competition level. By the strong will of our community, children, parents and school district this program will be around for many more years to come.
